I reached 10 to 10,700 visitors in only 3 months.
Yep, you heard that right.
Nothing much.
I just used an on-page SEO formula. The name of the formula is the underserved keywords that I have used to increase my website traffic by thousands without doing much hard work.
Want to know how I did it?
Buckle up, because we are about to dive into the super secret SEO formula. Donโt worry, no PhD in rocket science is required to apply this strategy for your own or client’s website.
But before that, let’s see the proof of mine.
By the way, letโs get started.
Step 1: Stroll into Google Search Console
First things first, I opened Search Console. And input the URL in the Page section that I wanted to optimize for underserved keywords. And when I did this, GSC revealed some juicy keywords.
Well, these are the keywords for which I am getting traffic.
Pro Tip: You can choose 3 months or 6 months of data.
Step 2: Find Higher Impressions Keywords
I click on the Impressions arrow.
So, I can get all the high-impression keywords for that content.
Now, hereโs the catch,
I took only those keywords which have over 100 impressions.
You know, weโre here for the big fish, which means higher-impression keywords, but uptapped. After getting all the keywords, I added them to my notepad like a list of VIPs at a party.
Step 3: Hunt for Underserved Keywords
It has also another name called Zero Mentions or Ghost Keywords.
I opened that URL in the Chrome browser tab for which I got all the keywords.
And I took each keyword from my high-impression keywords list and searched in my content for it. If the keyword was already in the content, cool, I removed it from my list.
But if the keyword was nowhere to be found, I added it to my list as an underserved keyword. I did this multiple times until I got a minimum of 5 underserved keywords that had 100+ impressions.
Step 4: Add the Keywords
Now comes the sprinkle phase.
I went back to my content and inserted these newfound keywords into tables, paragraphs, headings, and even images’ alt text. I mean, I gave these keywords the red carpet treatment.
For example,
The Wikipedia dead link strategy is a keyword I found that is currently getting higher impressions from GSC. But this keyword is not used in my existing content.
So, I naturally used it in that content.
The result?
Google started noticing and rewarding me with precious traffic.
In just 3 months, I saw,
- 10,700 visitors
- 64,000 impressions
- 3.8 position on Google
As a bonus, I found a few new keywords along the way that I could use to create new content.
Because, hey, why not?
Conclusion
So, here you have got the strategy.
Just follow the underserved keywords formula that took my content from 10 visitors to 10,700 visitors even within 3 months only. No need for fancy tools, expensive ads, or any black-hat tricks. Just some good untapped keywords and a bit of strategic placement.
If you havenโt tried this yet, take a shot.
Because, who knows, that content gathering dust on page 3 of Google, Bing, DuckDuckGo, Ecosia, Brave Search, Yahoo, or other search engines, could be your next traffic superstar.
